    I like the ideas related to community gardens/children’s gardens. The problems with Grayling is that you have so many vacant lots in neighborhoods (and could have more if some houses were torn down). I also like the idea of mini ice skating rink. However, who would pay for the water and maintenance for that project? I think we need a lot of low maintenance uses for our vacant lots in the city. If it were downtown, have you considered doing a splash pad? The city of Midland has 3 splash pads. That might draw tourists as well as locals.
